National Anthem and Pledge Taking |

Students who are Singapore citizens must sing the National Anthem and take the Pledge. Students will take the Pledge with the right fist placed over the heart. | |||

1.1 |
Students will be deemed as late for school if they arrive after 7.30am at their assembly area. | Latecoming |

Letter of reminder will be issued by Discipline Master (DM) informing parents/guardians of frequent latecomers. Parents/Guardians of frequent latecomers may be required to attend meetings with Form Teachers/DM. Detention Class for up to 5 days till 5pm. |
1.2 | Students must be punctual for CCAs, remedial/supplementary classes, enrichment programmes and any other school activities. | Latecoming |

Students who need to leave the school early must seek permission from the class teacher and report to the office. Parents will be called to fetch the student home. |

Rule 2: Be Properly Attired (Head to Toe) |

FT and Co FT will conduct a Uniform Check on Monday. A. School T-Shirt to be tucked in at all times. B. Name tag to be sewn/iron-on in the designated thread marking on the shirt/blouse/PE T-shirt. C. Socks are to be FVPS socks or completely white with no other markings(brands). D. Socks must be above the ankle height at all times. E. Shoes are to be completely black with no other markings. F. Boys’ hair should be 2 fingers above the shirt collar. Male students must be clean-shaven and neat in appearance. G. Girls' hair if shoulder - length or longer, must be tied up with black or dark green ribbons only. H. Fingernails must be kept clean and short without any nail polish. I. Only small earrings are allowed for girls only with the intention to keep the ear hole; from closing and not a fashion accessory. J. Coloured or highlighted hair is not allowed. K. Punky hairstyles or inner cut styles(inconsistent length and styles) are not allowed. |

3.1 |
Students must be respectful and polite when interacting with teachers and other school support staff. Students must show respect to teachers by paying attention during lessons. |
Rudeness |
Parents/Guardians will be invited for a meeting with the teacher to discuss the student's behaviour. Letter of warning will be issued by Discipline Master (DM). Detention Class for up to 5 days till 5pm or suspended from school for a period of not more than 5 days. Repeated offenders will be given one stroke of the cane administered by the DM and/or other authorised personnel. Unauthorised items may be confiscated. |

Students must respect property belonging to others. |

Students are not allowed to use physical violent on anyone. |

Students are not allowed to have in their possession any weapon. They are also not allowed to bring any weapon-like item which is used or intended to be used to cause harm to others. |
